: While members vote on key decisions, cooperative and corporation laws require a governing board. Elected by the members, the board uses their expertise and connections to further the mission and purpose of MCU while ensuring compliance with state and federal governance laws.
: MCU allocates profits into three categories to ensure growth, member benefits, and community support:

Membership Dividend: 25% of net profits are distributed directly to members.

Do Good Fund: 50% of net profits are donated to charitable causes chosen by members.

Reinvestment: 25% of net profits are reinvested to fuel the cooperative's growth and future opportunities.
